Depends what league your in, In the American League, most games last 3 hours or more because the designated hitter can get hits more than the pitchers can, leading to more at bats for each team, and more time taken. In the National league, the pitcher bats, and gets out more often, leading to fewer at bats in each inning and a shorter game. National league games usually last about 2.5 hours
