The Yanks are as hot as the Mets are cold right now, that is true.
BUT...this is baseball, where anything can happen. No way are the Mets as bad as they've been playing. I had been saying that they were losing too man close games, and that might have made them think the slump wasn't as bad as it really was, since a hit here or there could have changed most of the losses. The blowout loss may have been just what they needed to wake themselves up. I wouldn't be surprised to see them take two of three from the Yanks. Every streak and every slump has to end sometime.

Considering the way the two are playing right now the Yankees have a good chance to sweep. However, I think the Mets will take the game against Clemens and the Yankees will take the other two.

I'm a Yankees fan and even I say they won't sweep the Mets. Yankees will take 2 out 3. So, they'll win the series but won't sweep it. I predict they'll lose Saturday's game, that is if they do lose one.

Yankees are hot right now, 9gm winning streak. But it is a competitive series. Right now I'd have to give the Yankees an edge, they could win at least 2 games and good possibility of sweep

There is a very STRONG chance. The Yanks made the Diamondbacks look like minor leaguers and the Diamondbacks whooped (!) the Mets.
I like the odds of a third sweep in a row.

Clemens beat the Pirates - the Mets are soooo much better.
I think the Yanks drop 2 of 3.

No- not going to happen. The Yanks looked good over DBacks - who always strugle in interleague play just a fact,,,
but they will not sweep the Mets-- no offense to die hard yanks. Look for Dbacks as well to rebound a bit on the road against the Orioels- as hard as that is to grasp they have one the best overall road reocrds in MLB. In fact we at http://www.CrazyDaddy.net will even take them tonight plus 1.40 agaisnt a lefty - and a definate to win that series!!!

they yankees are the hottest team in the world. they will definetly sweep the mets.. the mets are struggling to hit, catch and pitch. just the opposite of the yankees...make sure you take your broom to sundays games cuz there is going to be some sweeping happening this weekend
