Jake S--

If I was on 'corporate welfare' I would be on a yacht somewhere in the Bahamas instead of in this office on such a beautiful day.

As conservatives, we understand that there's a job to be done. We simply can't let these libs outdo us. :)

Keep up the good work and you receive a star as a bonus!

I agree! I'm self employed, and get the basic work I need to done.

I really appreciate the intelligence, humor and thoughtfulness of the "regulars" here. But I spend far too much time on this.

I don't email because I like speaking on the board where we can all join in. And again, I have the nagging feeling that there are lots of interesting REAL people right in our own offices, towns, etc. that we should spend more time with. No offense, but we're so far away from each other geographically.

Heidi, I quit drinking too. Just trying to be more healthy. A beer belly is not very attractive either. Good luck!

This is an improvement for me. MySpace was my real addiction, before I kicked it. Still, I got a great review from my boss, recently, along with a pay raise...So, if it IS impacting my productivity, he didn't notice. =P

Yes. It's because the job I got thrown into during my company's re-org is so boringly mindless that even the idiotic crap that is the majority of stuff here is of a higher intellectual level.

Conservatives are good at multi-tasking. We can accomplish work and YA simultaneously, without any drop off in quality!

@Jake S, How can she be on welfare and have a job at the same time. Most people on welfare don't work. I think that comment was racially motivated. Any who, at my job I have a lot of down time. The attorneys don't care if I am on the computer as long all the filing is done.

Nah. I'm one of the fortunates that telecommutes. And I am one of the Directors. As long as I respond to those that need me I'm golden.

Funny how our soldiers are blocked from certain sites on the internet but some at work think it's just fine to spend their time here instead of doing what they are being paid to do. I'm sure any boss would frown upon being on Yahoo on their dollar.

No. It's what is called here in my line of work "downtime." If I'm not here on Y!A I'm possibly napping. LOL

Plus, I'm required to be online for some of my tasks.
