I like reading book by children... their innocent wisdom is very touching sometimes. I think it's amazing what some children can do, and like to see their work even if it's not as good as a seasoned veteran's.

I've never paid attention to how old an author is when picking out a book. I mean, I have an idea of some of their ages bc of the pic on the book jacket but that would neither compell me nor deter me from purchasing a book.
I look for content, not age of the author. that would be a strange way to choose a book

I've never payed attention or cared about the author's age of the books I read.

I was actually thinking the opposite. I would want to read a book that was written by a younger author because I would be curious to read their perspective.

If they are older they may have written more or have education (literary degrees or whatever pertains to their writting) but I read a book if I enjoy it. Now if its an educational book I would prefer older or well educated (if they are 30 w/2 masters vs 60 with an AA i'd read the 30 yr olds)

I would rather read a book that has good reviews. The older the person the better the book I hear though..baiscally because the writer has more experiences

Quite honestly, I dont think people pick a book and decide what the author's age is.

i would because if the author is in their oh like 20's, then they probably have some good flavor into the reading. if the author is really old, chances are, the context will be different, and probably the story too.

The author's age has never been a factor for me in deicing which books to read. It doesn't matter to me.
