I have a favourite in the main groups, Blue: Dolcelatte, Goat's/Sheep's: Chevre or Feta, Buffalo: Buffala Mozzarella but there is also Vignotte, Brie (Somerset not French as I think it tastes better), Double Gloucester with spring onions and chives, Sage Derby, Scrumpy, Goodwood Smoked, Boursin aux fines herbes or a l'ail, Gorgonzola, too too many to even choose. I love cheese so does my partner who helped with the list and my dog who when cheese is served always pays interest. The dog's favourite is a piece of bagel smeared with cream cheese.

I don't think that Leerdammer overflows with taste. It's more of a textural thing. However, if you like Leerdammer I suspect you might like Emmenthal which has a similar texture but a delicious nutty taste.

A nice mature Cheddar with some pickled onions and fresh bread. I am getting hungry just thinking about it.
