What are your thoughts on the whole Colgate story about the bogus Colgate toothpaste that's being brought into the country by way of South Africa?

My career causes me to watch for counterfeit items. I am seriously concerned at how prolific the spread of dangerous ingredients from China. We knew to watch for items from there specifically. Now we must watch items from other countries using ingredients from there....too much to comprehend at times.
It makes a choice of American made baking soda over a factory tube of anykind of toothpaste look smart.

I use plain old colgate to get the stains out of my kids laundry. It works great.
I don't care if the product is bogus or not as long as it keeps getting the stains out.

I use the paste-not the gel and I could care less about the poisoned Colgate. I live in Indiana.

I've always used Colgate, i don't trust in any other brand.

I don't use any toothpaste
I just plop the teeth in the denture bowl and drop in a tablet..

I use Crest.
And I haven't seen that story.
