How do you do i put key words on my GoDaddy.com web page?

I have been trying to put keywords so that it can be found using google but there no help guides to how to do it on the web site.

There are many different techniques for getting search engines to "notice" key words. All clumped together, it's known as "Search Engine Optimization"

Note, though, that having the right keywords alone is not enough to get you a top listing... for that, you need to have other websites linking to your pages. That said, here we go, in order of priority...

1) Have key words in your URL. That means if you have a set of articles that all relate to one topic, have a sub-folder that names the topic. Then, the file name of each article should contain keywords for the specific topic in that article.

2) Pay special attention to the tag. The title should not be something cute and artsy (tempting, I know). Rather, it should be on-target, with proper keywords, so that it's clear what the article (or page) is about. 3) Link to other sites that contain relevant information, or even better citations (quotes). Make sure that your anchor tags <a> contain relevant keywords. 4) Always fill in the ALT attribute for any images on your page, and make sure that once again, the description of the image contains keywords. 5) Spice up your page with sub-headings <h1> through <h5> and once again, make them informative, with key words for that sub-topic, and not artsy (which may even get you indexed to key words that are not relevant). 6) Ditto for the tags that enhance text, such as and (though these should be used less often. You're better off leaving the details of display in your CSS, not your HTML. 7) Don't get too crazy. Yes, include key words. But keep it in natural English. If a search engine finds you guilty of "key word spam", your site will rank lower. Search engine crawlers can detect that and it will actually hurt your ranking quite a bit. Be honest with your keywords, and don't put too many (15 keywords looks better to a search engine than 100).
