If buy better you mean even more overpriced and overpowered, the try these two places:http://www.voodoopc.com/default.aspx or http://www.falcon-nw.com/
Now if you just mean as far as quality for a good price, Alienware is pretty good in that regard, but if you are not a gamer, you really don't need to spend that much, a Dell or HP will be fine.

You can get a Mac (http://www.apple.com/mac ), Dell XPS (http://www.dell.com/ ) or anything else that sounds pretty top notch. Just make sure that it isn't really cheap or crappy like a backwater Dell, Gateway, or Acer computer. I hope that helps.
