You see - Israel gave them self-government and they promptly went and demonstrated why they should not be allowed to govern themselves.

you didnt heat anything because there is no such country as Palestine it was simply a former part of the Ottoman Empire and British Protectorate that becam Israel after a UN Vote in 1948
Then a group of rag-tag farmers and travelling goat hurders, some syrian, some egyptian and some jordanian, whose families had lived there for years and done NOTHING with the land - except graze their sheep, invented a place called Palestine out of thin air, that they magically claimed a right to.
Therefore, your question is redundant

Yes, it seems that the Palestinians treat each other worse than they treat the Jews, if possible. They express hatred for Israel and conduct regular terrorist attacks, but the real carnage is at home.
So how can they be expected to make peace with anybody?

Who cares? Let them kill each other off and the last one standing wins. They obviously can't co-exist, so they might as well just kill each other, like they've been doing for thousands of years.
