realizing you are in a vicious cycle is the first step
then talking about it

then having the guts enough to stand up and stop it
get out of the situation, walk away, ect

You need to break the pattern or routine that keeps you in the cycle. I found going on a vacation and getting away from home changes patterns and often gives you time to reflect and get a different perspective. Or just get out in nature, that is very helpful.

Easy answer but, hard to do. You change...You. You pretty much do as you wouldn't normally do. Change yourself first and then the situation will change with it. Good Luck!
