Fake "reverends" like Sharpton and Jackson

It's not the occupation - it's the people pursuing the occupation that have such little integrity. On a scale of 1-to-10 (with ten being the person with the LEAST integrity) I would 'vote' as follows (adding one that you forgot):
10. Congressman (or woman);
9. Senator;
8. Conservative media 'commentators' such as Hannity on Fox "News" or Hitler-in-disguise Rush Limbaugh;
7. Trial lawyer;
6. TV Preacher;
5. Used Car Salesman;
4. Policeman;
3. CNN Reporter;
2. Cleric;
1. ACLU Member

None of them by default. A profession cannot lack integrity only the people who are part of that profession. Thus, you will find people of high and low in integrity in all professions. Personally, if you are asking which you hate the most or have least respect for then car sales people, politicians and lawyers head my list.

Also as a Christian most tv preachers do my head in as they present a very distorted message and are after your cash, and to paraphrase a well known song 'give Christianity a bad name'.

By the way excuse my ignorance, but as I am in the UK what is a ACLU member?

I am trying to avoid generalizations, but from a recent personal experience, I would have to say ACLU. I actually pillaged the Egyptians so to speak by using all their buzz words to help an individual. He fell into none of the categories that they so self-righteously defend. I did not lie to them, I simply mentioned all of their pet groups, none of which applied to the person for which I was seeking help. In their zeal, they helped someone they would never have touched without even confirming the situation.

It would depend on the person performing the occupation. While their are many television preachers, ACLU members, politicians I don't agree with - I don't think my objections negate their sincerity. In other words I think the sincerely believe in things I don't believe.

Personal opinion... A CNN reporter. I don't think integrity follows suit with the media.

If you were seeking peoples genuine options and insights, you wouldn't have included the list.

Integrity is solely dependent on the person not the occupation.
Some occupations simply make it more difficult to keep your personal integrity intacted.

I'd have to say it's a tie between the Used Car Salesman and the Lawyer.

Though I do not have any statistics (and doubt if any are available) about integrity (or lack of it) to rank, looks like there have been both exemplary people as well as outrageously bad people in all above occupations.

I would have to go with the ACLU member. They aren't necessary to our society anymore, however, it they are for human rights then maybe they should go over to the Animalstinians, I mean Palestinians, and ask how they can help.
