Unfortunately this is common nowadays, but people should never have unprotected sex with someone running the risk of getting pregnant and at the same time would be worried and scared about telling the father. It's normal to feel some anxiety, I know I did, because babies are a big deal! Anxious and scared are not the same thing though...

I was nervous to tell everyone I was pregnant, I am 28 and still felt like I was a child when i had to let everyone know. I am not married so you can see where I was worried about peoples opinions but I am with the father and really everyone was great... to my face anyway :)
Good luck telling the father and I hope everything works out. Dont stress yourself out about it too much its not good for you or the baby.

Yea it Normal! I was 17 And unmarried when I got pregnant with my first baby and believe me I was scared to death to tell him. Alot of things went though my mind like is he gonna want to be a dad, will he leave me , etc. etc. I will tell you one thing though when I finally did tell him it was like a thousand pounds had been lifted off of me! Everything worked out just fine he was super supportive. We got married when my little girl turned 2 and have been married for four years now .So don't worry everything will turn out just fine .
Just walk right up to him and say point blank I am pregnant!
Good luck and congrads!

It depends.
My husband and I were trying to get pregnant, so no, I wasn't scared.
I would say that if you are married there is no reason to be scared.
Of course, if you're 16, unwed and knocked up, I'd be scared not only to tell the father, but to tell my parents, have the kid, etc etc

It's normal for some people. Some women knows their partner will be excited about the news so there's nothing to be afraid of. If you're new in the relationship, then its definately normal to be afraid. Just tell him...just see what he has to say and go on from there. goodluck

Of course it's normal to be scared, but remember you didn't conceive her alone! My babys fahter and I were not even on talking terms when I found out I was pregnant....turned out I had to tell him through text message! How sad is that?

Of course! You are probably afraid of what his reaction will be. Look at it this way: He's gonna find out sooner or later so why not sooner? Regardless, you have a little tiny baby coming so celebrate!

yes it took me two days after finding out I was pregnant to tell my boyfriend, I over thought it too much...how I was going to tell him? what his reaction would be? was he going to be mad because i was on BC?...all sorts of things were going through my mind...what I did was took the positive test to him and showed it to him, and then I let him do the talking from there
