I just had my 32 weeks check and my little girl heartbeat was 135. This is my second baby and with my first pregnancy her heartbeat never got that low she stayed pretty high. i have not felt her move since between 6 and 7 last night. The nurse told me if I did't feel her move in the next couple of hours to call them and they will put me on a monitor. I'm just wondering if this is normal!

Sometimes the heartbeat can drop a little, I'd say that is still within normal range, If you've been really active today, she may have moved and you just didn't notice it.

Lay on your side and do kick counts. If you don't feel any movements after 30 minutes, get up, get something to eat and drink, and lay back down. Do that every 30 minutes for 2 hours (if you can). If you still haven't felt any movements after 2 hours, I'd call your doctor.

Your baby's heart rate is fine and normal.

As for lack of movement - I'd be concerned. Infact it happened to me with my first at around 30 weeks. The doctor had me get orange juice and add extra sugar to it - that did the trick! Try that to see if baby will start moving around, but I think I'd still go in to be put on a monitor just to be sure.

I think it is silly that they told you about the movement and made you worry. Your baby is getting so much larger so it is not going to move as much as it used to. They are kind of in cramped quarters right now. If you are "used" to feeling a ton of movement and aren't now, I would suggest going for the monitor even if just for an ease of mind but to be sure. I have a 5yr old and am currently 14 wks pregnant. My daughters heart beat would fluctuate too. One visit it was fast and hard, next it was slow and hard (but not too slow, just slower). They had me on the monitors alot too but because of my blood pressure and retaining water and such. They wanted to be sure the baby was alright. Take care, and congratulations. I hope I was able to be of some help to you.

135 is a very normal heartbeat. eat something sweet and go lay down, if you feel 4 movements from the baby in 30 minutes, don't have to be kicks then she is fine.

135 is still within normal, but if you haven't been feeling her move, call and get checked out. My baby girl was the same way and is a happy, healthy 14 month old, but I had several ultrasounds (bio physical profiles) because she wouldn't move.

135 doesnt douns really all that low. Her not moving so much would really conern me though. It may just that she is getting ready to be born a bit early. Id go on and let them put the monitors on just to see that she were all right.

i thought that normal heartbeat was 120-160 during pregnancy, my babies heartbeat was 164 yesterday when I went and my midwife said everything was perfect, even thought I thought it was a little high...
