I wouldn't get too worried as I am just coming up 17 wks and I don't always feel my baby everyday as well my stomach seems to be flatter now. I think to start with I had water retention. I know my baby is ok as I have a fetal doppler so I can listen to my babies heartbeat. To put your mind at rest though contact your doctor or midwife and see what they say. Perhaps as well for future reassurance you could get a fetal doppler I got mine from ebay.

No one on here can answer this, you need to see your midwife. I am pregnant with my second child and also felt it move from 12 - 13 weeks so I know its possible. I am now 25 weeks but around 20 weeks the movements slowed right down for about 3 days, and I was really worried. It was over a weekend and I was going to ring my consultant on the Monday, but Sunday night the baby started kicking like crazy again. It may just be a quiet few days, but get checked out for your peace of mind at least.

Maybe what you were feeling at 12-13 weeks was your bowel which is the time your womb pushes out over the pelvis. your a bit too early to be showing much and feeling movement but if in the unlikely case that you were and the baby has stopped moving you should have phoned your midwife straight away and not come on computer to ask people that cant examine you cant scan you or do any sort of test to see if your baby is OK. A midwife is on call 24 hrs a day so phone her and she will send you to the antenatal assessment unit where they will do all the appropriate examinations and tests, even if all is OK at least your mind will be put at rest. so go go go and hope you and baby will be fine.

Um, I'm not so sure you were really feeling your baby move in the first place. 12/13 weeks is really too early to feel movemnt, the baby is simply not large enough for you to perceive movement--unless of course you are further along than you think you are.
Do not worry about your stomach changing shape, mine did the same thing right around 16 weeks. The baby is small but not microscopic, he can shift positions and alter the shape of your tummy. I remember one day I had a little belly, the next I looked like I did before I was pregnant--he moved from a horizontal to a lateral position.
If you are truly concerned, go ahead and ask your doctor to come in and check your baby's heartbeat. It's worth the piece of mind.

I would say if you are at all worried or concerned, ring the maternity ward or speak to a doctor. It may be quite normal but if you are worried, why wait til next week, put your mind at rest now. Good Luck Sweetheart and hope all is well.

I'm 23 weeks and my baby move a lot. But there will be days it doesn't wanna move at all. I try to get it to move, but I have to be so still to notice the lil bumps and thumps. It's barely noticeble. but for most days I can definately feel it move on its own. If you are concern, i really think you should contact your DR ASAP. don't wait any longer

Perhaps the belly was water weight. It's early both to be showing and/or feeling movement.
With my third baby I did not feel movement until 22 weeks.

go to you midwife, doctor or hospital right away. They don't mind even if nothing is wrong - a worried mother is someone who needs checking straight away. Good luck
