To be honest, no, it doesn't sound like they're your friends (I wouldn't assume they "hate" you). If you invited 14 people, it sounds like you KNOW a lot of people, but having acquaintances and friends are 2 different things. Think about how much time you invest in their lives. Do you speak on the phone/ email regularly? Are you concerned about their lives? Do you get together frequently? Friendships take time and investment.

My sister-in-law frequently has parties where no one shows up and she doesn't understand it. The thing is, she doesn't know how to be a friend. She spends most of her time gossiping about people behind their backs. The more people she knows, and the more info she has, the more conversation topics she has, it seems. Once people figure this out, they usually drop out of her life. Maybe you should think about if you're doing anything abrasive that might make people back away from you. Do you talk about yourself all the time, or are you interested in them? And if you ARE interested in others, do you then spread that information around? Do you talk to people just when you need something off of them, or do you volunteer to help them when they're in need? Ponder these questions for a bit.

maby they all have something to do but maby u are over looking this firend thing and u just think they are ur friends> have they dont something nice for u ? helped in need with a problum or a fight of some sort or have they just ignored it and let it slip?Look at the friends that are coming and are they the ones that are sticking up for u or ignoring u ? so what i am saying is take a long look at all fo them and see wich ones care about u and if it is the ones coming then u would know that they are true friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

good luck:)

Did they say they didn't want to go to your party? Maybe they have other engagements they have with family. If they did tell you they didn't want to go, then if they are your friends they are not very good friends.

Just have a great party and have a great time with the people that do go because they are your TRUE FRIENDS!

maybe they are just not into "bday party"... one thing traditions sort of demands they bring some sort of a gift for you... but if you say, "hey lets hang-out in my crib" without mentioning its your bday, they might come. You know how stressful it is to find a gift for somebody esp. when you are still a kid. You have to ask from your parents for some mullah for the gift.
