Infact I was going through the different passes and the rates. I am seriously confused. Infact the reason of the confusion can be the fixed pass rate of the railway system that I am being habituated with in my country . I know there can't be a simple reply to this. As in a flexi fare things are always dependent on time. But If I have to travel during mid october,2007,on an aggregate how much do I have to shell out? Thanks a lot in antiicipation.Warm Regards

You need to know what cities you are traveling too in order to get that information. Check this website for RailEurope and it will give you the prices you are looking for:

However, you may want to look into flying as it is often cheaper than rail. Keep in mind that if you buy a Railpass, it does not put you on the train from Paris to London (Paris is where you need to go first from Germany on the way to London). That is a seperate ticket for the Eurostar train.

The Eurostar from London to Paris or Brussels is expensive!!! It's cheaper to fly with Ryanair or Easyjet, then for the trains in France and Germany, I'd recommend a
Selectpass with 3 countries: France, Germany, and Benelux, or check out the France/Germany passes. Only get a pass if you're making more than two trips, and if you want to cover a lot of territory. The prices they give you on eurail.com and
raileurope.com for single point to point tickets are usually at the high end. Their railpasses are great, and you'd get a discount on the Eurostar from London, but you still have to pay about a $75 surcharge with a Selectpass.
Too save money you can fly from London to France or Germany for about $30 on Ryanair or Easyjet. You can also buy a France 2nd class railpass and a German 2nd class pass and have more days than on a selectpass, and that is if you skip Benelux.
