Get off the computer and go to the local book store or coffee shop. Take some college classes that sound fun...you may meet some one there.

I had very good luck through Yahoo personals. I wrote a very candid profile and added some nice modern pictures. I found that many people use older version pictures of them selves. I got alot of mail and met a few men for coffee, and in most cases no chemistry on my part, but the men were all first class gentlemen. I did finally meet the man that I am now married to you, and it was great, as we knew exactly what the other was searching for from our letter exchanges, and we knew so much about each other before we met in person, when we met the chemistry was 1000% there it was magical. I am so happy and very glad I went that route, especially more difficult for me as I don't drink alcohol much and do not like the bar scenes. I think it is a good medium for people in their 40s. A "site" is not a good place to start. The best thing you can do is go out in that big world and get involved in as many activities that you are interested in as you possibly can. The more things you are involved with, the more people you meet. The more interested you are in the activities you participate in, the more people you will meet that have similar interests. The more people you meet who have similar interests to you, the more likely you'll find a good girl to marry. If you sit around waiting, it likely won't happen. Get out there and get her!
