I read when I eat lunch. I read in the bathroom. Its not like I can't handle the multi-tasking in those settings,y'know?
If I am going somewhere where waiting is involved I read. The mechanic, the hospital, the pharmacy-I bring a book with. Same thing for road trips. I even have a booklight so I can read on night trips while my wife drives. If you want to read you will find the time.

Look at your life and ask yourself: Where can I clear up some time for reading? If your life is average, then you likely spend several hours a day in front of the television or computer. Cut back on half that time and spend that reading. If you are truly busy every second of the day, you could read a book on lunch, whil you are using the restroom, or right before you go to bed. I suspect though that its not a problem of "not enough hours in the day" and more of a problem of will. Its easier to come home from work and zone out watching television, rather than engage in a text. The first and most difficult problem is having the desire to read, and at least here you seem to be motivated. Find the time and get engrossed into some books and it will become a habit.

The times I pick to read are....
I read for my lunch hour. There is a nature reserve a minute from our building, so I slip down there and read. Since there are no distractions, it makes making the tmie easier.
It sounds a little dangerous, which is why I don't read something that I'm totally engrossed in (maybe a magazine), but I drive during my commute home. When you are sitting in a traffic jam for a half hour, you get a few pages in.
I also read for about an hour before I read. I'm naturally a night owl, so at midnight, you'll find me doing laundry and reading.

I agree with the posters that said set up time before bed.
Instead of watching the late local news, use it as your "me"
time and read a book, magazine or newspaper.
If you have a break at work use that time also.
Are your weekends "work free"?
I usually set aside maybe an half and hour to an hour to read before bed.
Find books or subjects that interest you and then you may find yourself reading more than you do now.
I think that if you really want to you can find time to read.
One more thing is if you turn off the TV and read instead you might find that works also.

I read at night before bed. I listen to audio books in my car. Often I read during my lunch break at work (but not always, sometimes I socialize). I feel empty if I don't have a book with me at all times. Most often it is either fiction of various genres or memoirs. There are devices now called playaways, that are "already downloaded" audio books that you can get an just listen to wth earphones.

Set up a certain time and dedicate it to reading. My time is right before I go to bed. If you want to read at work try taking a lunch at the office and read while you eat

Or, if you are a morning person, get up 30 minutes earlier, and read after breakfast, or before you jump in the shower...
