Why would a man leave his spouse or partner during her most difficult time when she's pregnant, feels isolated, tired, ugly (some feel beautiful i did but i had a supportive husband). I run a support group for single mothers and this is our number one unanswered question. Most of them didn't even see it coming.

I'd imagine the characters of these type of men should have been in question prior to getting pregnant. Usually there are signs...down right low character shows up in all kinds of forms.

This is so easy!
Becasue all the deep feelings and ill will he keeps inside comes out when times get more difficult.
My wife and I have a horrible sexual relationship...its downright embarrassing and its been going on for three years.
Now she got pregnant. (And Im suspicious b/c of what we are lacking..).. But even when putting that suspicion aside, i cant stop thining about how much more responsibility im going to have with a women who makes me feel like a creep when i try to come onto her.
The worst part is I have women asking me out and flirting with me everywhich way I go.....there are problems up ahead....hey maybe my wife can join your group...
Stop thinking about yourselves and start thinking that a man can only repress his feelings so far. And when times get tough, everything is gonna blow up..

Because they are scare of the responsibilities and don't want to be tied down they rather hang out with the guys or girls..I left my son's father when I was 5 months pregnant it was the best thing I ever did,It was a blessing in disguise.

The only reason I can think of is because they are immature, afraid of responsibilty, and selfish. They see there life being taken up by a baby and freak out and run. Essentially they are cowards.

I am not a man, but I think that these jerks who leave her preganant don't know what a woman goes through. She goes through all the emotions, physical and mental changes contstantly and has no control. That gives him an easy ticket because out of sight out of mind.

Not all men are enthusiastic about becoming a parent, I think they run off because they are afraid they're not going to be up to the job. Probably immaturity.
