Yes, if your doctor didn't talk to you about your options then PLEASE go see another ob/gyn. Life is too short to waste time waiting on a doctor that doesn't want to communicate clearly with you. I learned this lesson the hard way and finally (after asking for recommendations from other doctors who were not ob/gyns) found a fantastic doctor who takes the time to discuss everything.

And by the way, I too have PCOS, had some symptoms in my 20s, and was told at 19 that my uterus was tilted and would "have trouble" getting pregnant. When my husband and I first got married, I didn't ovulate for over a year. Tests seemed to indicate problems in the follicular phase of ovulation. Then, I took one round of Clomid, got pregnant very easily and haven't had to take anything like that since. I'm 42 now and pregnant with our 5th child. I still don't ovulate regularly and my uterus is practically upside down after all these kids, but KIDS we absolutely have. So find a doctor who will listen to you, work with you, and seek out some of the diet/exercise and medical therapies to help with the PCOS which will in turn, help with the fertility issues. This is particularly true if you have an weight issues caused by the PCOS. Clomid worked wonders for me and I've never had to use it since. In fact, after my first pregnancy and delivery, it seemed my system became for the first time, very regular. Don't give up hope.

Good luck. Find a more caring doctor who will work with you and not against you!

I have PCOS w/ IR and a tilted uterus. I got pg after 18 months of Clomid (went from 50-250 mg). I m/c'd the first baby, took a cycle off, took one more round of Clomid, got pg, and carried to term, but with complications. I then got pg 18 mo later naturally and had worse complications this time.

So it is possible - you're just going to be at a higher risk for not only infertility, but also pregnancy complications. I highly recommend you get in to see a endocrinologist (a reproductive one is even better). Not all OB/Gyns have lots of experience with PCOS.

Now everyone can cure infertility using this natural remedy http://pregnancyhelps.info
infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.
If infertility is caused by genetic disorder then it's not unusual that one of the kids (your mom) doesn't have it and another does (your aunt).
two months of trying is still to early to be concerned about the fact that you might be infertile and it's also quite early to go to a fertility specialist. Go to a regular Obgyb to get a closer insight and see what ways there are are to improve your fertility rate.
Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility.

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Go to your GP and ask him if you can be put on to METFORMIN. This is a tablet form drug that treats diabetes but is also VERY VERY good at letting people with this diagnosis concieve. I promise you it will work. I am a medical student and have studied this! Good luck and have a happy healthy baby x

This is something your doctor should of discussed with you. If your doctor didn't tell you what choices you have consider yourself seeing another obgyn.
