If you could control it, it would be part of this universe.
Every possible future already exists; you can only choose from among them. As far as you are concerned, all the others ceased to exist when your choices, and the choices of others, eliminated them.
It is conceivable there are other yous following each and every one of those alternative paths in parallel universes. You are on the path you have chosen; you can't control the paths you didn't take.

we create one all the time if your tv's on its on, but in another your tv's broken everything causes a parrallel universe but controlling it is controlling time
