The cry-babies, that want to restrict all firearms, start an armed revolution? Very doubtful.

The individualists being infringed on by the leftist swing facilitated by Bush's failures rebelling in lieu of complete submission? Possible.

I don't know if Bush is necessarily the cause, more likely he is a symptom of the revolutionary generational cycles.

A generation is considered 20 years, and four generations is considered a full cycle. 80 years is a full cycle, and the time between major American wars.

1770s - Revolution (external war)
1850s - Civil War (internal war)
1930s/40s - WW2 (external war)
2010s/2020 - ??? (Internal war?)

Minor wars cycle every 20-25 years, as if every generation must personally learn the horror of war. And once every generational cycle (80 years), there comes a generation who refuses to accept the status quo. This would be the generation of children whose idealism has been cut short by the current state of affairs and the availability of information regarding the corrupt and illegal activities of our government.

We live in a country called The "United" states of America. Since the Viet Nam, and now Iraqi wars we are no longer united in our quest for individual freedom.
In fact Americans may be actually less free than anytime before in their history.

One important point to remember:
For every law that's passed it takes the individuals "RIGHT" to choose away from the individual and gives it to the govt.

If the gvt. is intent on controlling every facet of every Americans life......some people call that a tyranny......and will rebel!

Bush is doing a poor job of trying to correct the mess created in the Middle East by the criminal actions of Jimmy Carter.
If he hadn't deposed the Shaw of Iran, there would be a different world out there.
Good thing Jimmy Carter is hammering nails. He needs to do SOMETHING to amend for the millions of lives he has ruined.

Nah...

We will just snipe at each other like we always do.....

We are all Americans - with different opinions - which is allowed in our country.

We may appear to be "torn apart" by the media and government language of "red state, blue state", "liberal and conservative", "right-wing and left-wing", "Dumocrats and Repelicans" but when you get right down to the nitty-gritty, we are "E Pluribus Unum" and always will be.
