Technically, it would be "unanswerable" or perhaps "enigma" or "conundrum". One might well argue that a question which doesn't have an answer (as opposed to simply can't be answered at this point in time) is not a question, since being a question presupposes an answer. You may be thinking of the term "rhetorical", but a rhetorical question does have an answer, it is just that the answer isn't actually being requested. Rather, the answer is just supposed to be contemplated or reflected upon.

In Zen Buddhism, it is called a Koan. In scholastics and common usage it is called a rhetorical question.
