Can depression last for more than two years? Seems like it never ends!!!!!

Yes, it can. Depression lasting that long is called Major Depression. If you aren't feeling any relief, you may need new meds, or a new therapist. I was diagnosed when I was 17, I'm now 23 and still suffer, but it's managed. I take medicine everyday, and it's improved.

It can be never ending. What you need, is professional help. If it is that serious and it sounds like it is, make an appointment, to see your doctor. Take care, of yourself.

I think its an on going psychological issue.... I think for the most part there are ways to control/harness it (medication, mediation, etc)

It can last a lifetime but it doesn't have to.
