CBS is keeping mum on any one solid choice for Barker's TPIR replacement. Some applying candidates, its told, will "try out" this summer in a few weeks, when new show episodes air.
One of the applicants is Hollywood well known actor George Hamilton--considered by many to be the front-runner to fill Barker's legendary huge TV host shoes.
