After you give them all a bath. Why don't you use the baby clippers. You can buy them at a dollar store. The baby clippers are alot smaller then the adult clippers. So if I were you I would check out the dollar store for the baby clippers.

Triplets? Wow, congratulations!!!
Nail cutting is, in my humble opinion, the worst part of being a parent!!! I have to say its going to get harder rather than easier - my daughter is 11 months, and would rather be on the move.
I suggest baby nail clippers, I found nail scissors a bit clumsy. Then you wait til they are asleep, get a good firm grip on the hand you're after, gently pulling back the pads of skin behind the nail to give you good "access", then go! As they get bigger and more active you might need to consider doing 1 or 2 nails every time you change a nappy, because they sure as hell won't keep still long enough for you to do 10, let alone 20! I find this works for me, but you might need to find your own work around with 60 nails to cut!!!
Good luck, and congratulations again on your bundles!

You can either bite them off while they are sleeping or get a little finger nail clipper specifically for babies. I would still do it either right after they have taken a bath or while they are asleep in your arms. It's easier to have a relaxed baby, than a wiggly baby while you are trying to do this. And don't get down on yourself if you cut one of the nails too short. It's heartbreaking to hear your little ones scream, but I think most moms have done this at one point or another. With three little ones I would do once a week but only one of them a day, unless your brave. Good luck and congrats on the little ones.

For a newborn, I used a nail file and filed them down.
At about 4 months, I put her on the counter- her back to me and ran the water...she watched the water and I snipped away. You can also do it when she falls asleep.
Put the nail clipper beneath the nail and pull back on the fingertip a bit to make sure it is just a nail and not the skin as well. Then clip. Do not use baby scissors for this!
Now that our baby is 10 months old, I do it on my lap- and point to each finger as I talk to her . She sits really still and watches. If she tries to move or wiggle, i had her a measuring spoon or something else that I have laid out before hand...it works great!

I read this and i also do it. I just bite my daughters nails off then that way you know whats nail and whats skin. Its easuer when they have just had a bath when there nails are softer. also ive never had a problem with them going down too far. good luck with your babies. sounds like hard work you must have the patience of a saint lol

Dont use nail clippers! Even the ones for babies. They cut the ends of the fingers off! I use a nail file, and it works brilliantly, or alternatively, I bite them off. But the Emery boards work really well. And try to do it when they are asleep too, makes life much easier.

The nail scissors work the best. With clippers, it's too easy to snip their skin as well. The scissors work great, without cutting the skin. The clippers work well for the toe nails however.
Congrats on the babies! We've got 6 month old twins!

They have baby nail clippers you could use, but I had 3 pairs of baby nail clippers given to me and didn't use them more than once. Babies squirm when you try to cut their nails, so it's easy to cut them. I always either peeled them off when they get out of the tub or bit them off!Congrats on the triplets and good luck!

Baby nail clippers. Get the nails level with the skin on the fingers, that isn't to far. You might have to wait until they are sleeping so they don't pull away from you.

I trim my little one's nail while she is sleeping so she isn't as squirmy. I pull the skin away from the nail and cut the nail and then file any sharp edges with a small file. You can buy a whole kit with small nail clippers and the files. Good luck
