I have read the dark tower series 3 times and enjoyed it everytime. My favourite part was wizard and glass where we found out about Rolands childhood. It made me understand him more. I was devastated when Oy died in the last book.

I've read it all and loved it. I sometimes use Dark Tower slang in real life. I accidentally said thankee sai to a cashier after getting change, and I replace fate with ka. I think it is comparable with Lord of the Rings, and The Chronicles of Narnia. Imagine if they ever made Dark Tower movies, those conventions would be odd.

i could surely choose for The dark Tower series, for reasons you already pronounced... especially because of the fact Rowling's characters are far to noble, and could do the final ingredient no remember what, yet King's (quite Roland) will do what they sense is nice until it prevents him from reaching his objective, wherein case he would not have a undertaking doing something. i won't be able to stand pretend, overly-noble characters (I do love the HP series, regardless of the incontrovertible fact that.) i think of that the "good adult males" could have the skill to do incorrect issues. And, incredibly, Stephen King is a miles extra proficient author... and that i've got have been given a ingredient for epic novels that span extensive areas and timeframes, and The dark Tower series is the epitome of "epic..."

I liked them a lot- although I have to say, you can tell a real difference in the older ones to the ones that he wrote after his car accident. He really changed the tone,a nd spent a lot of time "getting back" at the driver at the van- which I think ended up cheapening the story a bit. But it was still good, and I did enjoy them all.

I also just finished not too long ago and loved it as well . although I must say king has changed his style of writing since being in the car accident and I dont think I like it as well . He needs to go back to his old style . good luck .

I couldn't find them and only read up to the one with the crazy train. He stopped writing them - was that when king was in the car wreck? oh, was king hit by a car while walking after the wreck?

Yes i think they're brilliant. Stephen King is a god!!!
He has recently collaborated with marvel and there is a comic book series out to accompany the books.

Yes, I read the entire series.
I loved it. I felt I knew the characters.
I was a little disappointed in the ending but I am usually disappointed in King's endings.
He writes so well you just don't want the story to end.

I got the first book in the series when it was published, never got beyond the first chapter though. Don't know why, but it just didn't appeal to me. I am sure that it is a good series of books, but not for me apparently.

Finished a while back; enjoyed the Black house references a little more when it was done.
