well if you are trying at the same time of the month then yes maybe because that may not be your ovulation time... go buy an ovulation test that way you know when you are most fertile

I've been a victim of irregular periods since a m/c in December so know how you feel. From experience I've found that ovulation kits aren't easy to use if your periods are irregular and can work out very expensive. I've been trying them for 3 months now and not had one positive result (most kits you get a 7 day window to test every day, and at £10 per time this mounts up)
Instead I've been using an online tracking site, taking my BBT (Basal Body Temperature) and concentrating on having intercourse 10-14 days after the 1st day of my period. I've now missed a period and 'feel' pregnant (its too early for a test yet) so it sounds like its worked for me.
Best of luck!

nicely i won't be able to furnish beneficial suggestion yet can say that I thoroughly understand or perhaps relate to you. I too, have hypothyroid and odd classes. i've got been pregnant three times and carried one to finished term. This replaced into via determination and did no longer miscarry. i'm not sure how the thyroid illness could be an argument with conceiving in case you're taking synthroid to stability out your thyroid. i'm beneficial you have heard with reference to the basel physique temperature examining. it fairly is something which will help in monitoring once you're on the factor of and by ovulation on your cycle. females with odd classes are often prescribed fertility drugs like Clomid to boost the kind of ovulation cases. yet once you may quite try a extra organic attitude, that is incredibly useful to work out a naturopathic physician first to work out in the event that they'd prescribe a miles less invasive determination for you. you need to objective utilising ovulation predictor kits. there are a number of web pages offering ovulation kits that comprise each and every thing pronounced right here. i haven't began TTC yet yet plan to interior the subsequent 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. ultimate of success to you and that i'm hoping i replaced into some help.

it is kinda but not really in order for you to ovulate you have to have your period, but irregular periods are a sign of not concieving. To make your period regular what you need to do is talk to your doctor about getting on something or doing something to make you regular the only thing that being irregular is going to do for you is make it harder to get pregnant you can also ask your doctor about testing to see if you are producing eggs... talk to your doctor tell him/her you are trying to get pregnant and go from there!

No, this is not too much of a cause for concern. Your ovulation just probably happens at different times of the month. I recommend the book "Taking Control of Your Fertility" by Toni Weshler. It is wonderful and will lead you in the right direction. It has tons of information. You probably need to start charting your cycles to see when you ovulate, you can take your temps using Basal Body Temps...good lucK!!!

Hi
I have irregular periods and I never knew when I would ovulate. It took us over a year and we caught pregnant naturally and have just had baby girl. My doctor was referring me to fertility clinic to be put on a drug called clomid which helps you ovulate regular. It can happen, I know it's frustrating but just have sex as often as possible.

Of course! It is hard to know when to shag if your cycles are irregular. I have always had irregular cycles. After seeing a fertility specialist, they found a small uterine polyp. I had surgery to remove the polyp and my cycles are much more regular now. I even got pregnant 5 months after having the polyp removed.

I skiped 3 periods (wasnt pregnant), but than i had one in jan, and got pregnant, so i wouldnt think getting pregnant has anything to do with being irregular, its going to be harder to track your ovulation, but as long as you do it everyother day 5 days past your period and 5 days befor the next expexted ? period, you should be fine, good luck!

Yep. You probably don't know when you ovulate. Why don't you buy an over the counter ovulation kit and try this? So at least you'll get an idea when your window of opportunity is. You are probably missing the mark. Try it.
