When I write I stumble to put my feelings to words. So my paper looks like all brainy stuff. Please help with some advice.

Don't feel as though the sentences need to be grammatically correct or that all words should be spelled perfectly. This is what re-writes and editors accomplish.

Free associate. Sit down with a pad of paper and a nice, smooth flowing pen.

I like the kind of notebooks that have the spiral on the top because it doesn't interfere with the flow of words once you are on a roll.

Then just put down on paper whatever comes from your heart to your hand.

Don't worry it takes a bit of practice to break all the rules the nice-meaning English teachers taught us.

Just one word at a time. Soon enough the words will start flowing.

When I am stuck, I find it helps to change environments. Take your notebook and pen to the park or a beach. Go to a museum and sit on a bench in the middle of masterpieces. Sit in a coffee shop. Ride on the train.

And, don't forget to breathe. The extra oxygen feeds the heart, the brain and the soul.

Best wishes.

An older style of writing has been referred to as "stream of consciousness" writing. Practice it by simply writing down your thoughts as they arrive in your mind, regardless of their nature.
You are probably worrying about what other people may think about you when they read your writings but your writing should reflect your thoughts, your character, your personality. In other words, your writing is about YOU, so go for it!

What do you feel? What do you want to say? Clarify that first, then write those thoughts and forget about what is 'proper'.

just write what your feeling down on paper. don't even think when you're writing.

my english teacher calls this "free writing".. you just write down things that your thinking/feeling, and just let yourself go.
