A good center mid is similar to a point guard if you know basketball. Dish the ball to the wings. They must have excellent ball handling skills, be able to bring the ball up the field (though obviously not just dribbling it up) but be able to see the entire field and find the open person. CMids are good for a wall pass, especially if they can receive the ball and pass it back or 2 someone else with 1 touch. They also have the foot strength and accuracy that if they are left wide open, they can take a nice shot from 20-30 yards.
Center forwards basically score. wings cross the ball into the middle and a good center fwd will do what it takes to get the ball into the net (header, knee, foot, chest), they also have superior speed and more finesse, a soft touch on the ball.

center forward will push up and try to score goals by making good, well timed runs. A center midfielder should try to control the middle of the feild by keeping possesion as much as possible for his team. Then center mid should also be good at dribbling and needs to be a good passer.

center foward is just the same as any other foward, difference is that he usually has more chance to score. and center mid well he is like the main man. give him the ball and he'll look for the best option with the fowards. he has a better angle than the right or left. to give them straight passes or crosses
