My Wife buys all next years cards and crackers just after Christmas, at give away prices! The rest of her Xmas shopping is done throughout the year and in the sales. I think it makes common sense to save money in this way. Why give it the big stores ?All her Christmas stuff is stored together in a cupboard. Keep it in a designated place and you will not loose it.

Hey there is absolutely nothing wrong with shopping ahead of time, you go!

As far as remembering, I have the same problem, so maybe a note left in your wallet, or take a piece of paper and write down a reminder, then tape the reminder to one of the rolls of extra wrapping paper you have stashed, or maybe a notepad of to do's you keep next to your bedside table.

Best of Luck!

Sensible. We keep a box in the spare bedroom and keep it full all year by buying suitable presents whenever we see them We never get stuck for birthday or Christmas gifts. Presents that we get and don't want, we recycle to other people who are not connected.

You are cracking me up! I cleaned up at Toys R Us recently. I have to write down the hiding place on my calendar. The month of December has cryptic notes like "in Dads garage" so I remember to go get things from my Dads house in mid December. I vote for writing on your calendar or putting it in your Palm Pilot. Good luck smart shopper!

If you have a mobile phone then add a reminder in it and it will let you know where you hav hiddden it at your desired time which is in december or try setting reminder on your computer or laptop or those organisers if you have them.
