If happiness is like a lighted candle, it brings you warmth, peace, and is the light that keeps burning when all around you is dark.
If it is a lighted scented candle, it also provides you with the aroma of satisfaction.
If anybody blows the candle out, the good thing about it is that you can always light it again...you know that it won't be out of your life forever.
But still, don't let a little rush of wind (i.e. difficulties) put your happiness out!
Instead, use your flame to light those of other candles. So, if yours does go out for any point of time, they can help rekindle your flame from the very flame you gave them.

happy moments can be best compared to a good session of making love,candle light burns for hours where as love is for few extraordinary moments

Sorry for this, but you've forced me to identify happiness with some thing that will burn out. And, I don't agree with you that happiness is 'destined' to burn out.
There are two forms of happiness; introverted and extroverted. Introverted happiness means you are proud and respectful of the you inside. Extroverted happiness means you have someone to share a mutual respect with and feed your happiness to and from someone that matters to you.
No, again, happiness is not something destined to die out. Shame on you for even suggesting that. I taught you better than that.

nothing lasts forever, nothing
but if you keep working at both of them you can make them last forever
you keep taking the melted was and make the candle new again with new wicks
and you take the love and make it new again in similar fashion by reinventing your love for each other which brings new happiness

not much different i guess.when we are happy,usually everbody around us will feel the same..just like when candle is lighted,we all could share the light...and just like candle light,our happiness could stop or taken in just a second...by any way,any how,or anyone.
