First of all, a boy will not like you just because you have sex with him. He was using you, and maybe his intentions were otherwise, but if he actually said the words "I will like you if we do it"...then be cautious of him. It's important for your sexuality to experiment and have good experiences with your mates, however, safety is most important. Know that once you are sexually active, there are consequences. You should use protection and get that facts about STD (sexually transmitted diseases) such as herpes, gonorrhea, and HIV. There's also the chance of pregnancy, which may or may not have crossed your mind. When you have sex, there is always a possibility of having a baby. Are you able to support a baby? Will the father of the baby be a good daddy? Be ready for things like that, because teen pregnancy is a difficult thing to go through, and can also be the end of your freedom. Babies are a wonderful and joyous part of life, but at your age, could be a challenge. How will your Mom (or parents) react when they find out you are having sex? If you have always been open with your Mom about personal subjects in the past, then it may be a good idea to talk to her about your "curiosity" towards sex. You do not have to reveal that you ARE sexually active to her if you don't want to. She will probably find out on her own anyways. Just be ready to talk to her if she DOES confront you about it. I would check into birth control options and also get help at a local clinic (Like Planned Parenthood) with the choices you have. If you can not talk openly with your Mom, go to a trusted adult, like an Aunt, friend's Mom, or someone who is more experienced and open to talking about sex. Most of all, don't believe your peers. If your other friends are sexually active, they may not have the knowledge or experiences to be giving you sound advice. Be safe, not sorry.

How can you not know about sex at that age? Is it the sex part you don't understand or is it the part of a woman's cycle that you don't understand?

If it's the latter, here is a brief bio lesson.

The woman produces an egg more or less between the 12th and the 14th day of her cycle, it matures, and is released (called ovulation) this is when you have intercourse to make a baby, after ovulation is called your lutheal phase in which time frame the then fertilised egg attached itself to your lining. If the egg is not fertilised then it is excreted by your body through which is called your menstrual cycle.

Does this answer your question?

uhhh......

id think that if your mom never taught you that, thta would of caught in the hard way, but apparently not. i dont think that it is in my place, as a 12 year old, to teach to you about sex. there are books that can explain it all, or you can ask your mom or husband. i think you are too young for a child though- you are still in college, right? basically, sex is a thing where a "man" enters the "woman" in a private way.-- catch my drift??

i am sorry that you and your mom werent close enough to eachother.

O really i though you were 13 and pregnant. If you are pregnant you must know how to have sex. And you are suppose to know what sex is even if your mother didn't tell you. It's called sex education. Stop making fake questions.
