The fart will contribute gas molecules to the vacuum, hence the vacuum will no longer be perfect. The question is contradictory.

Plus if a person is in the vacuum, he/she will asphyxiate from lack of oxygen before they could smell anything.

A dead in body in a gas filled container; a perfect vacuum does not make. :)

I believe if you farted into a perfect vacuum, the vacuum would be eliminated. Or, it would immediately suck the fart out. So, it would not smell.

Flatulence produces gas molecules. In a perfect vacuum there are no molecules at all. Your question does not make sense from a scientific point of view.

It depends if the vacuum is a Hoover or an Electrolux.
