Some babies don't turn until the very end so please don't worry needlessly about this.
I also had a lot of amniotic fluid but it wasn't a problem. It shouldn't be for you, either, unless the doctor is concerned.

I don't think that breech has any thing to do with birth defects. My sister and I were both breech and neither of us have any issues! Sometimes the baby is breech because of an odd shaped or odd sized uterus that keeps it from turning.
At 28 weeks I wouldn't worry too much about the baby still being breech, there is still time. Pretty much everything I've read says that *MOST* babies are head down by 32 weeks, but some flip even later than that. I am 38 weeks and my baby is breech, and the Dr. said there is still a *slight* chance it will flip if I started having contractions, but he set me up for a c-section in 6 days just in case.
I am not sure about the high fluid amounts, with my daughter I had too low of fluid and had to be induced, they never were able to fully explain it. This time I have normal. If the Dr. didn't say it was TOO much than I wouldn't worry. I know it's hard not to worry about everything when you are pregnant though!

Honey breathe!
If the doctor had any major concerns for you he would have told you.
Babies can turn anywhere from 25 weeks up until birth. It's not something to be concerned about yet, you still have 12 weeks for that baby to turn. So calm down.
A lot of people have a lot of amnotic fluid, as long as the doctor says that he's alright with the amount, then everything is fine.
As for the down syndrome or birth defects there are tests they offer in the beginning of your pregnancy to see if your baby could be at risk.
Calm down honey, I'm sure everything is going to be alright.

well, just cause your baby is breech don't mean there will be health problems like downs syndrome or something. it's just means your baby is breech. not a big deal yet. if the baby don't turn tho by the time your going todeliver is the one thing you should be worried about. but i'm sure the baby will flip by then. theres a lot of time between now and then. if it don't flip, your just at a higher risk for a c-cection. and if the doctor said the amniotic fluid is fine, then there should be nothing to be conserned about.

Babies can turn all the way up until the last weeks of pregnancy. My breech baby didn't turn until 37 weeks.
There is no reason to be concerned.
About the amniotic fluid, there is always a natural variance in how much fluid people have. If you doctor was concerned he would have told you.

Relax! Your baby being breech is not any indicator of a birth defect, or that anything is wrong.
Some babies do not turn until righ up until birth. If by about 36 weeks he/she is still breech, they will try to turn it manually from the outside. If that is not succesful then it is likley that you will have a C section, but the baby will be healthy!!
My litle nut didnt turn until 34 weeks, so you definitly have more time!

Babies usually are even expected to turn until the 28th or 29th week...my baby just turned and i'm 32 weeks. They can remain breech up until almost the end and then turn.
Don't worry about that.
As far as the fluid, it's okay if you have alot as long as it's not too much, i'm not sure what causes this, but if your doctor is not showing concern then you shouldn't either.

Your dr would tell you if something even remotely off was found. Don't worry about that. As for your baby being in the breech position, the baby still has plenty of time to flip. My daughter was "head down" from about 31 weeks until about 1 day before she was born and she flipped into the fetal position and had to be delivered via c-section. Babies can flip at pretty much the last minute. So don't worry about that, that is not good for your baby. You have plenty of time for that baby to flip.

Well about the baby not turned, don't worry because babies are constantly moving around all the way until delivery. Yu should have got the prenatal screening done to tell you the chances of the baby having down syndrome or anything like that.
