If Bush is for the immigration bill and the democrats have controll of the house and senate, how can the republicans stop the bill from being passed. I'll tell you why. The democrats that will be running for re-election in the house and senate know this will kill their '08 chances and they are blocking passage of this bill. They can spin it all they want. The truth is they have control of the house and senate and Bush is begging for the bill to be passed and the democrat's polls have shown them that their voter base will dump them if they hand this bill to Bush.

If this is true then fine. I do not care how it is done....I simply want this bill buried in a deep dark grave.

The only way to stop it is for the Demmies to leave...They are just flexin their muscles...The Dems have always thought their way was right....but so have the Repubs but not as forceful, but in essense " Not that I voted for a Dem" they were put there to protect Our interests not to have strong wills and temper tantrums!

There must be something more to this than is letting on. Bush will give amnesty for unlimited war funding perhaps.

This bill will be passed before years end. Bet on it. My congresspeople have assured me they will not let this bill die and get it signed, no matter how long it takes.
