Sorry, as a dyslexic teacher, a teacher of dyslexics or a teacher of dyslexia?

One of my friends is a specialist dyslexia teacher, she had to do an MA after completing her teaching degree, although I think she had several years of teaching experience but certainly you will need a degree, then one of the teaching qualifications.

repeat yourself a lot
Don't talk to much to the kids
be nice
special training - see helen arkel or BDS for advice
don't treat the kids as retards - they're not

You need a masters in special education with a certificate in Learning disability for grades k-12th. After this you must enroll in different workshops to keep up to date with new strategies and findings.
