It depends on what order she took them in. If the first 2 were neg. and the 3rd was positive... she is probably pregnant. It could have been too ealry to detect the pregnancy in the other two. But the best thing to do is go to the doctors.. or even emerg. and get a bloo dtest done.

The confusion is the problem, your sister may have purchased a faulty product. At the Doctors office I work at, the pregnancy test, sold at your local drug store is the same at the doctors office.
One option would be to call "ask a nurse " for her advise, that would be the least expensive.
Sister should treat her body as if she were pregnant, until told otherwise.
The obvious is to encourage her to see her Family Physician.
Best wishes!!

At this pt, go to the doc & get a real one done (blood).

OR alternatively, wait a week to 10 days & take a brand name test again.

It is possible that the positive she experienced were called evaporation lines--lines that exist on a pee test when the test is improperly peed on. This happens for a # of reasons but one of the best known reasons is that cheap or "no name" tests have a higher chance of evaporation lines (lines in the preg. test area) than brand names do.

Depends Which she got first...The Positive? Negative? Did she take them all at the same time? All the same brand? Her best bet is to go have a blood test done...And IF she cant have her wait to test for a couple days again!

Having been in this position myself I now know you can get false negative tests but you cannot get false positives. Your sister is most probably pregnant, best get to a doctor for the test to be confirmed.

You cannot get false positive results, you can get a false negative result.

If she had a positive result, even if she had 2 negatives it is likely that she is pregnant. I would advise a visit to the GP, for confirmation. They will either do another urine test or an internal exam to see if the uterus can be felt.

As above go to her GP to get a test done, as the pregnancy progresses the pregnancy hormone HCG doubles, so any test she does now will be more reliable than the others.

You should tell her to go to her G.P to get the results confirmed. You don't get false positive results but you can get false negative ones. The doctor will do urine and blood tests which are more accurate!
