As a young child my favourite song used to be "Heaven is a Place on Earth" by Belinda Carlisle, at least that's what my parents say. But of the two I definitely prefer Laura Branigan - her song "Self Control" is a delight, though I don't usually care for Dance/Disco songs. Belinda Carlisle not bad either.

Awesome question!Both are great,but I would have to go with Belinda Carlisle.Too bad Laura Branigan passed away a few yrs ago,I always wondered if she would record another album.
