I would tell you, but it has changed several times just while I was typing this answer. The fact is, what's "in" and what's "out" depends on who you ask, and all of the people who will tell you will be saying "I can't believe I ever wore that !" a few months from now.
Develop your own style. Stop following the crowd. The world has enough fashion sheep. Be an individual. You'll attract a smarter crowd of friends, and probably have a more interesting life. Individual, independent, non-sheep people tend to lead more interesting lives than those who spend their lives wondering which individual to copy.

The latest trends are cute layered shirts! like ones that cut or swoop down. With a tank top under it! Then you wear cute beads that match the shirt or tank-top. Also a cute skirt or Capri's with matching flip flops. Hal-tor tops and tubes are also in!Also bermuda shorts, plaid and stripes are in! Ugly shirts like shirts that say stuff like (Mountain Dew) are not really cool. Light colored shirts are good for summer. You can make your bags match your elfit too. You can get most of these styles at AEROPOSTAL and AMERICAN EAGLE, HOLLISTER, ABRECROMBIE, and even OLD NAVY sometimes. Hope this helps you!!!!

Leggings are out with skirts, but with tunics and some dresses, they're okay. Ripped jeans are starting to fade, and lately it's been more about the clean cut skinny jeans.
Plaid and stripes are both in right now [not together of course], but almost anywhere you go, you're destined to see some plaid bermuda shorts. They sell them at American Eagle, Hollister, Abercrombie, J Crew..you get the idea.
The babydoll tops/dresses are definitely in this season, along with the massive Nicole Richie sunglasses.

What I see wlaking around this summer in the Fashion District in New York is:
Baby doll tops and short dresses in bold patterns with massive exposed cleavage
Cuffed, loose-fit tailored short shorts
Tight knee length shorts (despite the magazines, most are solid, almost no bermuda plaids in sight)
Amazingly short denim skirts, with and without leggings
Giant wrap around sunglasses
ballet slippers or very high wedge sandals

silhouette skirts,mini jeans skirt with leggings,tank tops,short denim jackets,Capri's are the lastest trend of clothes 4 girls today and accessories like broad bangles specially white coloured one,big sunglasses,ankle lets are in fashion today.

tappered /pencil/skinny jeans... summer dresses r in too .. u can wear em during the rains .. ballerinas r in vogue n u get waterproof ones to .. they look hot n compliment any thin u wear .. tey r a must have tis season .. flarred jeans .. n anythin flarry is a complete no no ... skirts r in .. u can go floral n flirty with em o even the browns n blacks look ooozzzing hot .. colourful lingerie is a must have .. u can show em off a lil while wearing halters , tubes , dresses .. etc. ..

I've been noticing layered outfits lately; capri's with cami's under a loose, very deep plunging neckline.

ok BOTTOMS-bermuda shorts, cuffed capris,flowy skirts
TOPS-baby doll shirts,cute camis,and layered tank tops
SHOES-cute wedged heels,converse with cute patterns(low top only),and flip flops with cute designs
ACCESSORIES-big sunglasses,bangles,and chunky jewlery
or really anything @ HOLLISTER,ABERCROMBIE AND FITCH,AEROPOSTALE,and AMERICAN EAGLE!!! But really nobody can tell u whats "in" thats up to u its whatever u like and feel comfortable in.-hope i could help

its called go girly! flirty dresses, baby doll tops with bermuda shorts, organic wedges, bangles, full skirts, big bags.
definately rule out bell bottoms (straight leg are in)
