He should be thrown out of the team and the selectors got to do that.
Schacin retiring will not happen because he is playing for money not for the team.
I appreciate your courage to ask a honest question which itself is a truth.
Not only you and me most of the cricket lovers feel the same about Tendulkar he is passed his best.

It is true that Sachin is nowhere near his best at the moment. Injuries render him unfit far too frequently these days. These should be reasons enough to set him thinking whether to continue or call it a day. But it is equally true that India has failed to find a batsman who can blast away in style the way Sachin does when he is in full flow. Add to that his role as an utility bowler who chips in with valuable wickets at vital moments.
Even now opposing teams sit down to devise special strategies to get Sachin out early. That proves that he is not burnt out as yet.
Sachin can continue for some time more, not as India's main scorer, but as an utility player who can score modestly and also take important wickets when required. And we can pray that he finds his form soon.

Yes, It is right time he should announce his retirement from Cricket. Many good cricketers have announced their retirement right on time. For Ex: Brain Lara, Inzamam ul huq(ODI), many more,
further Sachin Tendulkar has lost his grip nowadays. He should give Chance for youngsters to occupy his place. In Australia, when any player thinks or comes to know that there is an youngster behind him, especially if that youngster is right replacement, immediately they announce retirement. Ex: Glen Mcgrath, Hayden, Shane warne

I dont think he should retire before 38. He is in good form. In test 100 can come in 300 ballss however every batsman will play slow in tests. I dont like the people saying he is playing slowly then about ganguly who plays very slow than tendulkar even in test as well as in odi and they r telling he should be brought back. H e need to play as he played in natwest series final where he scoreed 66 of 46. Here after if we go to final in some tournament then he can play fastlyt. He can score only against bangaldesh, kenya, bermuda . He cant score against great teams.

I think he should better retire
His bad phase just never seems to end..he has lost his touch now...looking at past performances and retaining him will bring no good to the Indian team now..
The board must get practical...he will always be remembered as a great player, but unless he starts performing consistently nothing can save him

sachin is a good player.now a days his performances are just improve than previous matches.he is a classical player.
so i think sachin should not announce his retirement between 2 or 3ears . its his own decision. we tell him our suggestion about his retirement . but retirement is his own think, decision.ok.

I think he should announce his retiement because he is not such a good player he didnt play yet for country played only for himself only eventhough he is holding so many records those he had made against lowest team that means he should be say bye to all and give chance to new talent
