The Mahabharata, of course!
It is haunting me wherever I go in the path of Life, also helping me and guiding me.
Even when I read Harry Potter, I placed Arjuna and Bheema into Griffyndor house, Bheeshma, Vidhura and Sanjaya into Ravenclaw, Nakula into hufflepuff and Dhuryodhana into Slytherin.
How did my life change? Mahabharata is ever urging me to take Dharma into consideration in every step I take in my life. I am becoming nuts on the concept of Dharma. The Divine Order never ceased to amaze me, right from the moment I took up my first book of Mahabharata.

To kill a Mockingbird;
Though it did not contain any advice on killing Mockingbirds, growing up it did give me a hero, Atticus Finch. To kill a Mockingbird should be required reading to become a United States citizen.
Muslims: Why Sharia Law;
Though it did seem biased it gave some great insights on Muslim laws and traditions.
Fight Club
I read this in high-school and suddenly became less hell-bent on gaining things and concentrated on enjoying things in my life

The Martian Chronicles and Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. The Martian Chronicles made me realize that we only have one home, planet Earth. Fahrenheit 451 made me suspicious of the government and made me appreciate books, and other things that I feel I have a right too.

Not a book, a poem: Dulce et Decorum Est.
At nine, thats a lot of war, and those words hit me harder than anything i'd seen on CNN.
