Yes a 6-8 foot boa can kill an adult. I own a 6'4" boa that is quite strong and if they wrap around your throat can kill you. It is always safer when a snake gets to be that size to have someone else around when handling it. As for feeding it 4-5 times a week it will depend on what you are feeding it. If you are giving it pinky mice then yes. If you are using medium to large rats or rabbits then once every week or every other week will suffice. Any more than that can be harmful to the snake. Watch when you feed the snake. The food needs to be no bigger around then the snake is at it's largest part. If the boa is properly fed and on a regular schedule then there isn't much danger involved. Make sure that you always do wash your hands before touching it though, if you smell like food and you're warm then you are food. Also when feeding make sure it is in a seperate area then the normal habitat or there is something different about feeding time then normal time. If you get them into a schedule and make sure that they realize when you put them in a certain area when it is time to feed then they are "trained" for lack of a better word, that this means it's feeding time.

Quite unlikely unless the person was incapacitated in some way. There are no documented cases of a boa killing its keeper although the larger pythons, usually Burmese, have done so. The idea of a seven foot boa swallowing an adult man is absurd. Yes, they can take surprisingly large meals but not that level of size discrepency.
For the health of the snake, it should not be be fed 4 or 5 times a week. That would seriously over tax its system and lead to obesity. Every 10 - 14 days is sufficient for adults.

Why would you be feeding a full grown boa 4-5 times a week?! Full grown snakes should only be fed once or twice a month, and they can go months without food!

I'm not sure about a man, but it could easily kill me. If I came across it, I would die of fright.

I'm not sure this is possible, so I will say that I would surely faint giving the boa an easy prey.

well it could certainly kill you, eat you no, but you don't look like a prey object to it so it just thinks meh, and that really would be biting the hand that feeds you as it were, but if it gets round your throat you have problems and i woudln't feed it that much they can go something ridiculous like 3 months with out eating once a week large rat would do. you can't feed them to much

disabled or something like that maybe but the likelyhood of you allowing the snake to get into the position so it can kill you is unlikely. it does have plenty of strength to choke you to death but it has to get into that position first and you have two arms and two legs to fight it off. since you really do not look like a food they would want to eat there is not much need forit to risk hurting itself. and the likelyhood it feels threatened and cornered enough not to run but to stand and fight is way out there.

YOU BET'CHA! They only need to get you by the neck to squeeze you to death, AND they are actually capable of swollowing a much larger animal (even a full grown man)! Be very careful! Check with your vet with regard to feeding instructions. Remember, they're really hungry just after shedding their skin!
