I watched a movie last night titled, "Running on Empty" with my son (one of his childhood hero's). I can't stop thinking about him. What a talent? What a loss of such potential? Can you believe he's been gone for 14 years?

yep i remember him...i was actually thinking about him because i thought that if i had a son i would like to name him River.....

Yes. Once an actor gets a nomination they're hot property. I think he would have been doing great movies if he could get the drug thing out of the way... It's a pity he's gone

he was such a fantastic actor, and had beautiful features. It was a great loss.

Yes I do......and how tragic that loss is...it is still felt today I also remember his brother Joaquin Phoneix I am sure you do too!

i know what a waste of a young life he was a brilliant actor , that film "running on empty" is one of my favourite films of rivers , as to is "stand my me" which i have on dvd , yeah r.i.p river we miss you xx

wow, i feel like i'm old, yes i remember him, he was like a heart-throb, i had a poster on my wall. the world's lost a lot of cool people through drugs and alcohol, it's a shame

I know he was a great actor, it was awful the way he died. I didn't relize it was that long ago though. wow. That was a great movie too.
