it's really quite simple..anyone can do it..start on day one by taking just 5 seconds to think of somthing you truly love about the United States, just 5 seconds...day two, you spend 10 seconds putting aside your rage and hatred against the country the drive-by media instills in you constantly, and only think poistively of America. day 3, 15 seconds, .and so on..give it a try. you might just end up being a pro-american american!

Most Americans I know who endlessly bash America either consciously believe the country needs to be taken down to be saved, or they sincerely believe their political belly-aching does good but no harm (while in fact it does the opposite).

Can't think of any member of either group who would be willing to think of something they love about America (unless it's the right to voice political dissent).

For most of us, conversion comes when and where we're not expecting it. Gimmicks like Rush's miss the point.

I'm already a pro-American American. I think of things that I love about my country a lot more than 15 seconds a day. I don't need a drug addict to tell me how to love my country. Only 15 seconds a day is an insult to this country.

I don't need to do it. I'm already there. The founding documents made and make this country great. When people think about their country they should look past the make-up of political parties in the government and instead focus on this country's ideology which is and will always be the greatest in the world.

LOL ...... you say the media instills rage and hatred in people and yet you believe that Rush Limbaugh is pro-american. Hate to burst your bubble but Rush is also the media, it's his job, his livelihood, his con. Limbaughs entire act is hate speech. His goal is to use guilt to make people blindly follow and never question.

“Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it.” - Mark Twain

“You're not supposed to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who says it.” - Malcolm X

“The highest patriotism is not a blind acceptance of official policy, but a love of one's country deep enough to call her to a higher plain” - George McGoven

What an insult! People who disagree with the way the government is being run care very much for their country.

that's a great American ideal

.I was actually thinking of how Rush approaches
people and is kind to them when they are so nasty....
when I suggested you do the same in regards to supporting Freddy..

it comes down to who we are..not what they say..and rest assure the snide remarks will ensue..but they miss your point completely.

i love rush, so i am already pro-american. thanks for suggesting this to the stinkin' libs though...unfortunately, you mentioned rush's name, so they won't even give this a second thought before dismissing it.
