I have members but where should i start playing?How do i get to play at a bar or club or concert?

the band has to go to a studio & make a CD then go to your local bars/clubs ask the owner to listen to the CD & to get back to you regarding if you can have some gigs @ their place

For a beginning band you might have to start with open mikes someplace. If you can, you could host an open mike, and be the first band to play. It doesn't hurt to offer to help out at a benefit for something or somebody. If a club owner likes you, talk to them about getting a PAID gig there. There are a lot of ways to do this - maybe you can think up something new - best of luck!

here's what u do, u make a sample cd with a few songs on it. then u can do a couple of things: either sell it to your local music store like fye or some thin like that, or take to a couple of bars and clubs around town and show it to them. if they like u they'll ask u to play and give u a little money, if not, u go to the next bar

Go around to local clubs, bars, etc.... and see if they have various nights were people can play music. You may also want to record some stuff & set up a myspace page to get your music more known.

small clubs is probably the best way.. or if u have money u can start a gig urself (rent a place ,sell tickets...) but be sure your band is good before all of that ok?

go in and ask if theyll do a show on a saturday evening when theres a lot of wasters getting drunk
if you are a haevy band yoyull get a drrunken mnosh opit

Try getting a open-mike evening..or even at local schools, they usually have loads of these types of concerts!

certain coffee shops have sheets you can fill out, then you can play there free. it's doesn't get you any money, but it's a good place to start.

someday somebody will notice and if u have talent u wl gt there..
