So many of the questions are not clear, and some are downright malicious. If people hear something alarming (and have a sense of community) and the asker did not clarify that they were asking about their "friend", or just a hypothetical thing, then it is a logical assumption that the person is asking for themselves or someone close to them.
Yes, the questions and the answers could all be better. A stop off at google/wikipedia would eliminate 90 percent of the questions too.

I am a person of age - so its experience usually that I answer with. I am not that old - but a lot older than most people on this site. I have gone through a lot - marriage - divorce - kids - which are all older and flown the nest.
I am not a budding anything and the NHS is always running short LOL

Well, it's from experience. Working with so many kids in the past, I've always found that they don't want to be the one who doesn't know about something.
"My friend heard somewhere that if you masturbate a lot, you'll get hairy palms, is that true?"
Yeah, that kid didn't just ask for his friend.
And even in the anonymity of the internet, a lot of kids, especially junior high and high school, keep track of who's asking what on here. They are so connected with their friends, they know everything and anything about them on the internet. That's why there really is no protection from asking things for yourself. Your buddies at school, or the girl you like, will be able to see everything you do.
Or at least most kids project that sort of feeling. So they fake it and ask questions for their friends.
But really...?

Most people live with their noses close to the mud: Judging by the spelling and grammar, most of them are poorly educated working-class folk on here. They are born to eat, defecate, procreate and get divorced.
They are not able to think 'outside the box'; probably because they watch too much of the box.

most people do have their thoughts and interests stimulated, but in answering a question posed by one person, the answer must be guided by the approposed question, therefore we answer you not the thought behind the question,as to answer a question with no one to actually answer it to would be a completely pointless excercise,
when somebody hurts themself they say ouch but if no one is around to feel sympathy they say nothing and just get on with it

Certain folk need to ease the tightly wedged poker from up their dirtbox, then get comfy and pull faces whilst making stupid noises.
