for a low ph detergent try this: 1 tsp. dawn (no bleach or lotion) 1 tbsp. clear ammonia (not sudsy or lemon) to 1 qt. water. if you have pets, omit ammonia this will make them want to "go" there.

I just did this yesterday..... I used laundry soap.. I just happened to have All free/clear and I added some Shout I didn't use measurements, but I didn't go too overboard with the soap.... If you are worried you can always use clean water with no soap to get any remaining soap out... For approximate.... I used about 1 capful per clean water fill....less than a 1/4 on my machine I have small capasity floor cleaner.....
