I would be very happy if you started reading your text book,
or else posted these kinds of questions
under the homework category.
The source of happiness would be
finding out you could do your own work,
(if only you tried)
A personal strategy -
maybe a polite suggestion, like the above?

I am not going to answer this because there is not a correct answer. What makes me happy may not make you happy and for me happiness is one thing, for you it can be another.
Look at my example: I'm 27, I have a good job, great car, good life, I do 4 kind of sports (jog, inline skate, beach volley and basket), I travel, I have friends, family, am I happy? No. And why not? That's for me to know, but what matters is this: society has a common accepted definition of happiness that doesn't fit on my case, although a lot of people say that they would like to have my life...
It's very easy to say "I'm happy", but define it is much more difficult. But, like when the mountain doesn't go to Maome, Maome goes to the mountain, you could define unhappiness and then who knows if you could get to your first question...

I think as we grow up and get a little older, the definition of happiness changes to us. Happiness, to me, is living a quiet, peaceful existence and spending time with my little family. It used to be about my job, how much money I made and how busy my social life was. Now, happiness is the simple things in life that we are usually too busy to take the time for. Being with my wife, playing with the dogs and feeling peaceful and calm on the inside. After going through many illnesses in the family, many losses and a lot of grief, I find that simplicity is the key to my happiness now. I think it's all about getting your priorities straight.

Happiness is freedom from suffering. By defeating that which causes suffering (craving for and aversion from various stimuli), human beings can gain freedom from suffering through meditation.
