We are thinking of having a chameleon in the office..as someone we know cannot look after it anymore. Is it possible to feed it lots on friday and leave it over the weekend, then feed it on monday? Or do they need to eat everyday?

Feeding wise it would be ok over the weekend, but what about the misting it needs several times a day? They dehydrate quickly and a couple days without misting could kill it. But, if you have a proper set up with a mister included, it won't be a problem.

Reptiles do not need to be fed daily, their metabolism is much slower then warm blooded animals. What you suggest would be fine.
